Big Brother All Stars: The Season of Stupidity
Boy, I really have mixed feelings about this seasons Big Brother 7: All-Stars. On the one hand I am totally into it and have enjoyed the past 3 episodes. On the other hand the show is going in a direction that isn’t exactly my idea of fun to watch. In fact sometimes it even hurts to watch.
Before I get into that, let’s backtrack a bit and catch up on this season of Big Brother 7 All Stars!
7-6-06 Big Brother 7 All Stars Season Opener - Episode 1 where we discovered who was on the show. Other than missing Lisa (my dream girl) I can’t say I am at all disappointed with the lineup. They added an extra 2 slots which is nice. Ironically my buddy Marcellas did not make the “most popular” as voted by America. It looked like he was going to lose his lunch when he realized he could no longer say he was the most popular contestant in Big Brother history.
By the way Marcellas, I have enjoyed watching you this year so far and have come to appreciate your style and demeanor. Either that or you have grown up and more interesting. Any way you look at it I would like to make peace with you brother! Good luck to ya Marcellas!
Jase and Janelle are cohos - CoHOHs - co-head-of-households. Janelle and Jase nominated Allison and Danielle. I was rooting for Danielle to get evicted as Allison seemed charming and pretty and oh, a bitch! She could be fun to watch as she seems to talk out loud. Danielle on the other hand seems more quiet and guarded.
7-11-06 Big Brother 7 All Stars Episode 2 - With the power of Veto up for grabs, one of my fave contestants Janelle won the power of Veto. They ended up leaving Danielle and Allison as the choices for eviction.
7-13-06 Big Brother 7 All Stars Episode 3 - it caught me off guard but it was sexy bitch Allison who ended up getting evicted. Too bad. She was growing on me. Smart, sassy and mean! She was fun! I would have much preferred Danielle to get the axe. Funny but Danielle really was shaken up as she expected that she’d get the boot. Her face was reminiscent of a deer caught in the headlights of a semi. In fact I think she may have been in shock. Good! She had never before been nominated and she needed to eat a little crow. Her ego is just too big for her head.
I the Head of Household Competition, more like a true false spelling bee than a competition by the way, we saw host Julie Chen blow it and mistakenly crown Nokomis as Head of Household. Someone must have been pinching Julie because after a delay she finally corrected herself and proclaimed Kaysar the winner.
And this is where it starts to get disappointing for me. The season 6 Big Brother people are all jumping for joy hugging and kissing Kaysar. Despite having strength the Season Six Alliance just laid all their cards on the table. Oh well.
7-16-06 Big Brother 7 All Stars Episode 4 Kaysar is the Head of Household and from the get go I must admit something made me mistrust him. I felt uneasy about his taking the throne.
Having the luxury of seeing things that Kaysar hasn’t it is possible he isn’t entirely in the know, but it is so apparent on TV that pale Dr. Will and Mike Boogie (Chilltown???) would love nothing more than to pull a Guantanamo Bay on Kaysar.
The obvious choice for Kaysar to put up for eviction would be Will and Boogie. That is what I am wanting at least… and also I am not alone! Many of Kaysar’s alliance feel that way. In the middle of all this is Jase who is playing all sides. Smart guy that Jase is. Right now I am putting my money on Jase as he has no targets on his back.
In what turns out to be a shocking development, Kaysar summons Will and Boogie into the HOH room and discusses a plan to take out the “floaters”. Huh??? What happened??? Kaysar makes a deal with the evil Doctor and the ass kissing Boogie… Kaysar says he’ll save them this week if they agree to take out floaters next week.
Well, I must admit I was shocked and dismayed but I was willing to give Kaysar the benefit of the doubt. But as we TV viewers get to see the Chilltown smartasses are bad talking about Kaysar and are laughing all the way to the bank.
When all is said and done Nakomis and Diane are nominated. Not Dr. Will and Dumb Boogie!
That is so stupid! But like I said I was still giving Kaysar the benefit of the doubt.
Nakomis is my least favorite contestant, but what has happened is that Kaysar has lost my respect as a smart strategic player. He is afraid of the guys he should have marked for eviction and instead of seizing an opportunity he puts up two girls that had no ill wills towards him. That just isn’t smart!
7-18-06 Big Brother 7 All Stars Episode 5 I was so looking forward to watching but as we were reminded about how stupid Kaysar had become an ill feeling came over me. It was pretty apparent he made a bad move for himself and he was also screwing the season 6 alliance who would get blowback from this stupid deal Kaysar struck.
Dian and Nakomis are just too weak to be considered threats… and who exactly are “floaters” that Kaysar wants will and Boogie to take out next time??? Does Kaysar think he’ll actually have any input??? Dumb dumb dumb!
The crew tries to take Kaysar to the side and convince him the power of veto should be used to take off either Diane or Nakomis so they can backdoor Will or Boogie. You can tell Kaysar doesn’t agree but he is now shifty in how he is responding. I am getting more and more upset about Kaysar losing this opportunity. He has lost my respect and also the other houseguests.
I can’t imagine that he can recover and keep himself in the game any longer than a week or two after making such a strategic blunder. He has a target on his back and he is now a liability for the season six alliance and that Marcellas guy (who is making a lot of sense these days by the way - you go Marcellas!)
It turns out that Erika wins the Power of Veto and can make a contribution but as she is in love with Kaysar she opted to not rock the boat and left both Diane and Nakomis up for eviction.
Well… so much for this being an exciting season. The all stars are wimps and the game playing is grade school level, not major league like it should be. I may be wrong and will be willing to eat crow if Kaysar comes out of this alive but he has just shifted the power away from his group.
I’ll try to keep an open mind but I hope that Janelle, Howie and Marcellas and oh James do something smart and dump their alliance with Kaysar. He is dangerous for them to be affiliated with.
Next episode we’ll find out WHO will get evicted and who wins next head of household. Even though I hate the Chilltown boys I hope it is Will or Boogie and I hope they go after Kaysar. He deserves it.
