New Apprentice star has ‘colorful’ past

RealityTVFan + September 19th, 2005 + no replies

According to the smokinggun.com, Alla Wartenberg, a new contestant on this seasons Apprentice 4 was a pricey Vegas stripper in her past life. The site says that back in 1995, she stripped under the name Ecstasy where she met a trucking executive that became obsessed with her and spent lavishly on her. The real news came when he could no longer afford his ‘habit’ and turned to crime to help pay for his obsession with her. He killed three people during robbery attempts and was sentenced to death. Both show producers and Donald Trump say they were unaware of this link but that it would be looked into…….more fireworks to come here for sure! Stay tuned!

RealityTVFan + September 19th, 2005 + one reply

April is out…so is Janelle. It is down to Ivette and Maggie. Ivette the hot head talked her way into the victory on Friday, when Maggie “accidentaly” fell off the platform and then narrowly defeated Janelle in the second tiebreaker…….edge of the seat stuff!

Can’t wait for Janelle to join the jury and help determine the winner of the $500,000 tomorrow night!!

who is going to win? give us your reasons and we will see who is right!

Fear Factor meets Amazing Race???

RealityTVFan + September 19th, 2005 + no replies

Thanks to the comment from Einesz on the Amazing Race! It appears (although not completely confirmed) that one of the contestants is Brittany Rogers, former Miss USA delegate on Fear Factor. In fact, not only was she a competitor, she won! hmmmmm, as Einesz says, maybe more stunt casting or ratings chasing going on here huh?! Stay tuned for more info and let us know if you have anything to add to this interesting twist……is it true? Lets uncover more dirt!! Ahh, reality TV…there is nothing like it…..

The ultimate TV guy

RealityTVFan + September 16th, 2005 + one reply

Think you watch a lot of TV? This guy, Suresh Joachim of Toronto broke the world record for the longest time spend watching TV. He finished today, Sept 16th after watching for 69 hours and 48 minutes! “I’m going to be a little tired of watching TV after this” he said. No kidding! We however would like to salute his efforts and he is the kind of guy we love here at American Reality TV.

The previous record was 50 hours and 7 minutes. He broke the record in the lobby of WABC-TV. Get this, he now owns 16 world records, including the longest time spent balancing on one foot, 76 hours and 40 minutes.

He does it all he says to raise awareness of suffering children.

Way to go Suresh!!

Idol Ads getting pricey

RealityTVFan + September 16th, 2005 + 2 replies

News flash here……..If anyone doubts that American Idol is still as popular as it was when it first aired, they should consider that the show will be the most expensive show in TV history on which to advertise when its fifth season kicks off. An ad for the Wednesday show this season will cost a whooping $700,000! Of course they are offering a large discount for the Tuesday show……its only $660,000……..Poor Simon, he must need more money.

Bye Bye Jim

RealityTVFan + September 15th, 2005 + one reply

Survivor is on! Who watched it? That was a no brainer, booting off poor old Jim huh?! Oldest guy, hurt arm equals easy choice for the tribe.

The hike was brutal and the guys sure looked wimpy to. Should be a fun season. It was fun to see Stephanie and Bobby John come back…more eye candy for us viewers. She is a better player though for sure! What’s the early prediction? Dark horse? Favorite?

Oh yeah, here are two more reasons to watch this season!

The Amazing Race is Coming

The best thing about this show is that it has consistently proven to be both entertaining and educational….(yeah, there are the obnoxious personalities and good looking people as well). Read the rest of this entry

Janelle the Cocktail Waitress

M J + September 10th, 2005 + 2 replies

Well, she may just be a cocktail waitress in real life, but Janelle of Big Brother 6 has turned out to be one smart cookie.

I’m happy to see that Janelle who is blessed with a nice warm personality, has made it to the end and is in control of the final houseguests as Big Brother 6 winds to a close.

Janelle of BB6

Whats interesting is that Ivette seems to be under the mistaken impression that America hates Janelle as much as she does… even Ivette’s girlfriend was disappointed that Ivette was so hard on Janelle.

It’s always fun to see how the houseguests see things so differently than those of us who watch on TV.

Big Brother 6 final episode is slated for 9-20-05.

I say Janelle will make it to the final 2 but will lose to one of the girl scouts. I wish she’d win, but the jury doesn’t like her any more than they did when they were competing against her in the house… What do you think?
